Supporting The Adults Who Help Children Thrive

You spend so much time thinking about them.

Who is supporting you?

Therapeutic counselling for parents and carers of children who have experienced trauma.

Helping you make sense of what is happening, build confidence and feel more supported.

Parent-Child Bonding

Parenting is one of the most rewarding things we can do — and one of the toughest.

When you're parenting or caring for a child who has experienced trauma, the challenges can feel even greater. You may find yourself constantly thinking about your child:

Are they OK?

Why are they behaving like this?

Am I getting it right?

The demands can feel endless.

And somewhere amongst all of that, it's easy to put yourself last. You might even feel that focusing on your own needs is selfish - I'm here to tell you - It isn't.

To give our children the support, patience and connection they need, we need to make space to look after ourselves.

You matter too

Whether you're struggling with family relationships, challenging behaviour, parental stress, compassion fatigue, guilt, shame or anxiety — or you simply feel stuck and don't know which way to turn — counselling can provide a safe, supportive space to make sense of what's happening and explore a way forward.

You don't have to navigate this journey on your own.
